Rentals may involve sizing preferences and item-condition records. Personalized services may involve company details, logos, playlists, and welcome messages.

If you book photography, we collect and deliver photographs and related session details. Please avoid including sensitive information in general booking notes unless it is necessary for an accommodation request.

Payment providers process payment information. We receive transaction and order information needed to administer your booking. Payments are processed through Shopify and its payment providers. WESTWARD receives order and transaction information needed to manage your booking, but we do not directly collect or store your full payment-card details.

Our website and its service providers may collect device, browser, IP-address, cookie, and usage information. Our website is hosted on Shopify, which uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, support checkout, remember preferences, and understand how visitors interact with the website. Information collected may include your IP address, browser and device information, and activity on our website.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, review availability, provide and coordinate services, process payments and refunds, communicate about bookings, deliver photos, administer rentals, address disputes, maintain business records, and protect our services against misuse.

Service providers and sharing

We share information with providers that help us operate the business, limited to what is appropriate for their role. These may include Shopify, payment processors, booking or communications tools, and any driver or photographer assigned to your booking.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect legal rights and safety, as permitted by law.

Photography and vehicle recording

We use booked photographs to provide the photography service. Promotional use of identifiable guest images is subject to a separate written permission process, not permission inferred from accepting this policy.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep booking, payment, and related correspondence in Shopify and Gmail for as long as reasonably needed to administer our services, maintain business records, and address applicable accounting, legal, insurance, and dispute-resolution obligations.

Photography files are stored in cloud-based storage. Customer galleries are available for 90 days after delivery. Unless an exception below applies, we delete the original and edited photo files from active storage within 30 days after that gallery period ends. Copies in backups or recovery folders may remain until removed through the storage provider’s retention and deletion processes.

If you separately authorize promotional use, we retain the approved images and associated permission records for as long as we use those images, and retain permission records afterward as reasonably needed to document that authorization or resolve disputes.

We may retain relevant information longer when needed to address an outstanding claim, dispute, or legal obligation. Access to retained information is limited to those who need it for those purposes.

Requests and contact

Contact us with privacy questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information. We will assess requests under applicable law, verify identity where appropriate, and explain any information we must retain. Available rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to your information.

Bookings should be made by adults. An adult booking for a family should provide only the child-related information needed for the service. Promotional use of a minor’s image requires a separate parent or guardian permission process.
